Healing Paws Wellness Center is a unique veterinary clinic. We are dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality holistic veterinary care for your pet. In order to provide this level of care, it takes a commitment from both our staff and your family. We are looking for families who are not only dedicated to their pets, but also who want to be dedicated to a holistic life-style. Healing with holistic medicine generally takes time, dedication and patience.
What happens at your first appointment
Our new patient appointment allows us to get to know you and your pet from a holistic perspective. The doctor will start by taking a thorough history of your pet’s current and previous health status while addressing your concerns and healthcare goals. This is followed by a comprehensive physical exam and diagnostic testing when warranted. During some new patient appointments, we begin treatment with acupuncture or homeopathy. The doctor will discuss diet, supplements, exercise, dental health, vaccinations, heartworm and flea prevention and any necessary treatment options.
We end the appointment with a written wellness take-home sheet and follow-up plan. This appointment generally lasts 1.5 - 2 hours and we schedule them on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. After your initial appointment with us, we require a recheck appointment 4-6 weeks later, 4-6 months later and annually thereafter.
Healing Paws Wellness Center accepts payment via cash, check, Visa and MasterCard. All payments are required at the time of service. We provide estimates for any diagnostics, treatments, procedures or surgeries before they are performed.

When unforeseen health issues arise, local families are able to bring their pet in for last-minute appointments or to pick-up supplements/remedies on short-notice. If you live outside the greater-Eugene area, we encourage you to visit the following Web sites to find a holistic veterinarian closer to you. If you feel that the distance from our clinic will not be an issue for you (retired, flexible work schedule, etc), please feel free to fill out this questionnaire.

"What can you say about Healing Paws, the staff, and the care they provide? Simply that they care about health and well being of our pets as much as we do, if not a tiny bit more." Davey & Claire
